Heal-X terms of serviceReference source licenses
Heal-X’s application code remains proprietary. The referenced data and terminology retain their own licenses. A source link or terminology match does not certify a product, dose, clinical finding, or safety conclusion.
LOINC
This material contains content from LOINC (http://loinc.org). LOINC is copyright © Regenstrief Institute, Inc. and the Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes (LOINC) Committee and is available at no cost under the license at http://loinc.org/license. LOINC® is a registered United States trademark of Regenstrief Institute, Inc.
Codes and corresponding source descriptions are retained together. Source fields are not altered. Heal-X does not redistribute survey instruments, SNOMED CT content, or the complete LOINC tables through this reference feature.
UCUM
Copyright ©1999–2024 Regenstrief Institute, Inc. All rights reserved. UCUM terminology is used under the UCUM Copyright Notice and License, Version 1.1. The terminology is provided “AS IS,” without warranties; see that license for its full disclaimer. This feature identifies units; it does not convert lab values.
NLM RxNorm
The reference feature uses NLM concept names and identifiers from the RxNorm API. These NLM-authored data are public domain. Other source vocabularies can have separate rights and are not imported here.
NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database
DSLD data are available under CC0. See the official API guide. Label quantities describe labeled servings, not individualized daily doses. A historical label is identified as such. NIH does not endorse products or verify their efficacy through inclusion.
USDA FoodData Central
FoodData Central data are available under CC0. Nutrient composition is retained with its food identifier and source, expressed per 100 grams. See the official API guide. This information does not establish a person’s meal intake.
MedlinePlus
Patient education links point to the original MedlinePlus lab-test pages. This feature stores link titles and links, not licensed third-party drug monographs or encyclopedia text. Source content rights remain with their owners. There is no NLM endorsement of Heal-X.
PubMed Central and Europe PMC
The article metadata connection retains only title, identifier, source link, date and license for individually verified CC BY or CC0 articles. It does not import article text, figures or abstracts. Each source keeps its article-specific license. Literature is unadjudicated and does not become a signed clinical claim through retrieval. See PMC reuse guidance and Europe PMC documentation.
Commercial sources
NatMed and DrugBank connections require an appropriate commercial agreement and verified API contract. No content from either source is imported by this feature while those requirements remain unmet.
